Khurshid meets Ashraf over lunch, no official talks

External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid meets Pakistani Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf over a lunch at the Rambag Palace Hotel in Jaipur on Saturday, but no official words being exchanged between them.

 Salman Khurshid meets Pakistani Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf“It was a private visit (of the Pakistani prime minister). It was not an occasion for talks,” Salman Khurshid informed reporters in Jaipur.

Raja Pervez Ashraf arrived in India with his family at around 12 o’clock today on a private visit to Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer in Rajasthan.

Ajmer Dargah chief Dewan Sayed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan has boycotted  Raja Ashraf’s visit to protest the beheading of an Indian soldier at the Line of Control. Several shops, organizations were also closed in protest of Raja’s visit.
