British Prime Minister David Cameron landed in Mumbai on Monday morning with a large delegation on a three-day visit to India.
He is going to meet the corporate heads and business leaders and talks on further possibility of the trade between India and Britain. He is expected to woo Indian businessmen to invest more in England.
He will later visit St Xavier’s School in Mumbai.
Cameron’s trade-oriented visit however overshadowed by a corruption scandal involving an Anglo-Italian firm AgustaWestland.
David Cameron is expected to meet Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday and along with business possibilities the talk will focus on a several range of bilateral, regional and international issues. He is also expected to give his opinion on Rs. 12,000-crore Vodafone tax matter.
David Cameron will have a talk with Indian officials on Tuesday on the VVIP helicopters scam. India will press for more information into the Rs. 3,600 crore VVIP helicopter scam involving AgustaWestland.
