Analysis and further investigation of a tablet device belonging to the Germanwings flight co-pilot Andreas Lubitz shows that he had researched suicide methods days prior to the crash, a German prosecutor said on Monday.

Official analysis and investigation carried out by the police revealed searches concerning medical treatment and also that the search history had not been erased. A European government official who did not wish to be named and had detailed knowledge into the matter said that his actions amount to be ‘premediated murder’. However, ambiguity still remains over

Lubitz’s eccentric behaviour as no concrete knowledge can be obtained as of yet. Also, a video clip recorded by a mobile phone filming the final moments inside the cabin of the then German wings before its crash is held to be ‘genuine’ by two European media- the French magazine ‘Paris Match’ and the German daily ‘Bild’, further stating that the authenticity of the video is ‘unquestionable’.

The voice data recorder box is one of the many items that has been recovered from the crash. The mental state of the co-pilot is under study.

Germanwings Flight 4U 9525 crashed on 24 March, Tuesday, en route Barcelona to Duesseldorf, that came down on a remote valley, instantly claiming the 150 lives aboard.
