Pervez Musharraf arrives in Karachi ignoring Taliban death threats

Ending four year’s self-exile, former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf has arrived in Karachi on Sunday afternoon. He is all set to hold a public rally in the evening.

Pervez Musharraf returns to PakistanGeneral Musharraf had said earlier that he will lead his party ‘All Party Muslim League’ in the upcoming general election in Pakistan in May.

Pakistani Talibans have threatened to kill Musharraf if he returns to Pakistan.
Musharraf may even face arrest on his arrival as he is wanted in several cases including in the murder of Nawab Akber Bugti in 2007.

In an interview with ‘Waqt’ television channel on Friday, Musharraf said that he was not afraid to face trial in Pakistan as most of the cases were unconstitutional.
