Kim Jong-un told North Korean troops to prepare for all out war and “annihilate the enemy” as the tension between North and South Korea remains intense.
North Korea’s biggest ally China had however asked both the parties to resolve the matter through dialogue.
A spokesman for China’s foreign ministry told reporters, “China calls on the relevant parties to be calm and exercise restraint and avoid taking any further action that would cause any further escalations.”
“China and North Korea have normal country relations. At the same time, we also oppose North Korea’s conducting of nuclear tests,” it added.
North Korea is furious over United Nations Security Council’s latest sanctions on them.
