Many have joined the campaign named ‘Save the Internet’ after the AIB crew released a nine-minute long video based on the critical topic of ‘net neutrality’. The AIB platoon is back with newer rejuvenation, 3 months after their previous ‘knockout’ controversy, the video of which was pulled down from YouTube due to extreme critiques from various sects.

Their fresh video is all about the telecom operators which are running their business, keeping in mind just the lucrative prospective by limiting the usage, speed and access to various websites. They have pointed a darker side of Internet Service Providers and the government, and how they don`t treat all the data and websites equally, encourage discrimination, and why they should eliminate doing this.

They have also put a focus on how various telecom operators are trying to propel Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in order to permit them to block apps and websites or slow down the speed to earn more and more.

Narrated by the four team members in their well know quirky and humorous way, giving rudimentary instances, many have not only shown their interest towards supporting the campaign, but also have joined it. As a result, TRAI has received around 1 Lakh votes from the net users across the country to promote net neutrality concept.

The TRAI had put up a consultation form on 27 March on their website in order to seek the opinions of users about the subject. One can log even now on to the www.savetheinternet.com to send an e-mail to TRAI, last date for submission is the 24th of April.

The bandwagon is receiving humongous responses from Bollywood brigade too, with many popular stars sharing the video link and asking the people to view it.

Farhan Akhtar said, “Please give 30 seconds of your time to do this. http://www.savetheinternet.in/.”

“#SaveTheInternet come on india,” Varun Dhawan tweeted.

Parineeti Chopra tweeted, “Save the internet! Net neutrality is crucial! Proud of you boys! @mojorojo @thetanmay @AllIndiaBakchod.”

Well, with the use of internet growing tremendously, day-by-day, at the unimaginable pace, promotion of this issue is hour`s need and requires utmost attention. AIB has indeed taken a great step ahead!
