Bangladesh and Australia share honours

The Group A match between the host Australia and Bangladesh at the GABBA in Brisbane got washed out due to torrential rain. Both the teams have won their previous matches that they have played. Bangladesh won their match against debutant Afghanistan with considerable ease, while the Aussies beat their arch rival England quite comfortably in the second match of the tournament.

With the match getting washed out due to rain, it looks like Bangladesh is the more beneficial among the two. For very few would have bet in favour of Bangladesh against Australia- an Australian team playing on their home soil and with one of the best eleven in this world. Australia on the other hand will be a bit disappointed with this wash out for they would have liked to make sure that they stayed in match practice before their crunch match against the co-host New Zealand in their next match.
