UPA 2 is the most corrupt government since Independence: Sushma Swaraj

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday said UPA 2 government is the most corrupt government since India’s independence.

Speaking at Lok Sabha on Supreme Court’s observations on Coal-gate sacm, Ms Swaraj said, “This government is not only involved in scams, but also takes steps to hide them. It takes steps to protect the ministers involved and the Prime Minister. Are we stalling Parliament for personal gains? Are we doing this for our wages? Are we doing this to benefit our relatives? We are doing this in national interest.”

Although BJP today helped the government to pass the crucial Finance Bills but said that it will not extend any more support.

“And said the blame for Parliament not functioning lay completely on it. “There is scam after scam, each breaking the record of the previous one… how can they call us irresponsible?” Ms Swaraj slammed the government.

Supreme Court on Tuesday thrashed CBI over its report on coal investigations being vetted by Law minister Ashwani Kumar and other government officials.
