Uddhav Thackeray backs Modi

As the deadlock continues over announcing Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate, the key ally of NDA, Shiv Sena today said that they will support Modi as NDA’s PM candidate.

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said he supports Modi as PM candidate. Thackeray called Modi on Thursday night and conveyed his message.

“We would support Narendra Modi. Modi has a large support in the masses. We will support whoever BJP announces as their PM candidate. If we have to wipe out the Congress we have to increase the NDA strength,” Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said.
