Three Bills Passed In Lok Sabha Amidst Chaos Over Coalgate

The union government has able to pass three crucial bills amidst the chaos over coalgate in the Lok Sabha on Monday.

Three bills which were passed on voice votes, are:

* Northeastern Areas Reorganization Amendment Bill,

*Protection of Women against Sexual Harassment at Work Place Bill

* National Highways Authority of India Amendment Bill

Meanwhile the uproar in the parliament continues over the CAG report on coal blocks allocation and the principal opposition party BJP’s demand of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s resignation. It is highly expected that the Monsoon session which will be ended on 8th September, is going to be washed out without any function.
