SP leader says Conduct DNA test of Muslims who don’t vote for the party

Samajwadi Party does it again!

Senior SP leader Abu Asim Azmi has said that Muslims should only support Samajwadi Party in the 2014 Lok Sabha Polls and DNA test should be conducted on those Muslims who do not vote for SP.

Abu Azmi also said that Muslims who do not vote for Samajwadi party are not “true Muslims”.

” If any Muslim opposes the Samajwadi Party, have a DNA test done, he could be an RSS man. Muslims who don’t vote for the SP are not true Muslims,” he said.

The SP leader further said, “I want to say that he cannot be a true person. What has SP supremo Mulayam Singh not done for them (Muslim community)?”Azmi told at an election rally in Khalilabad.

Reacting to Azmi’s comment, senior Congress leader Rashid Alvi said, “I cannot say if the Samajwadi Party is trying to conduct DNA tests of those people from riot camps who have voted against their party. Hope Abu Azmi does not test the DNA of Muslims who were killed in Muzaffarnagar or those in relief camps.”

After facing severe criticism for this comment, Azmi tried to explain by saying, “Muslims are secular and have always accepted Hindus as their leaders from Jawaharlal Nehru down to Mulayam Singh Yadav. The BJP’s slogan is Hindu-Hindu bhai-bhai. It is spreading poison. Even after the Gujarat riots if the BJP claims Muslims support them, their DNA needs to be checked.”

“Sometimes you say things in the heat of the moment. I will not be repeating it,” he added.
