Shiv Sena to Join BJP-led Maharashtra government

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis informed reporters that Shiv Sena will join his government and they are now back after few months’ separation.

Fadnavis said that 12 Sena ministers including five of Cabinet rank will take oath at Raj Bhavan today at 4 PM. Shiv Sena will also get another Cabinet post at the Narendra Modi government in the centre.

The two parties parted away after 25 years before the assembly elections. Although BJP emerged as the single largest party, but it stop short of a majority. Now with Shiv Sena’s support the Fadnavis government can run smoothly.
