BJP top-notch develops strategy for monsoon session while Congress remains firm on its demand

Two days ahead of the monsoon session of the parliament, the BJP top brass and strategists met at the Prime Minister’s residence on Sunday to chalk down a strategy to counter the attack that the opposition is determined to shoot on the government over the malicious things that have made headlines recently. There are reports which state the opposition is in full preparation to corner the government over a couple of matters, including Vyapam Scam and Lalitgate.

To tackle the oppositions attack, the BJP strategists have decided not to defend its ministers and the incidents’ that have come to the forefront in the recent past. The party will not be defending Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, whose name had surfaced in the Lalitgate controversy. The same will be followed for Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who is being criticized for the horrible developments in the Vyapam Scam.

However, at the same time, no resignations will take place, or no such demands will be accepted by the party. Both Raje and Chouhan were present during the meeting in the capital.

Prior to the meeting the Prime Minister’s house, party chief Amit Shah several ministers, party spokespersons and strategists in the capital to come up with a tactic to counter the cornering. Reportedly, Raje was also present during this meeting.

While the BJP developed a strategy on Sunday, the Congress staged its demand to the Prime Minister, to remove Raje, Swaraj and Chouhan, if he was wanted the Monsoon session to commence and proceed smoothly.
