In an election rally at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi launched severe attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday, calling him “opportunist” and “backstabber”.
Modi accused Nitish of betraying and backstabbing Jaiprakash Narayan, Ram Manohar Lohia and people of Bihar.
“One who shunned Jaiprakash, why can’t he leave BJP. He fought all his life to free the nation from the Congress and the one who claims to be Lohia’s disciple has stabbed him in his back and is now playing hide and seek with Congress. Whether his followers will forgive him or not, the souls of Lohia and JP will never forgive his deeds,” Modi said to the mesmerized huge audience.
Modi asked people of Bihar to vote out JD(U) and vote for BJP.
Attacking the Congress, the Gujarat chief minister said there should be only a war against poverty and not against religion and asked Congress to stop misguiding people in the name of secularism.
