Kejriwal defends Somnath Bharti over ‘tampering with evidence’

Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday comes forward and defended his law minister and AAP leader Somnath Bharti over the Patiala house court’s observation of ‘tampering with evidence’.

“A sting operation has been called tampering of evidence — it is not tampering of evidence,” Arvind Kejriwal said.

Meanwhile Somnath Bharti has denied this allegations saying they are “lies”.

“It was me who wanted to bring out this audio record; we never tried to influence the prosecution witness. We made an audio CD to expose the witness who was giving out false claims,” Somnath Bharti said.
