Decade later it’s a Saffron Friday for India

So, now the D-day has finally arrived. Proving Exit Poll surveys across television news channels right, BJP led NDA government is heading towards forming its government. A period of five years is over and now it seems that we are going to get a new government. So, Aabki Baarit’s a sure victory for Modi Sarkar.

BJP As BJP has declared Narendra Modi its Prime Ministerial candidate, now Modi is all set to become India’s next Prime Minister. History is evident of this that only in 1984, Rajiv Gandhi had won by majority by over 300 seats. It was the last time in the Indian politics that a single party had won with majority seats. Journalist Kamya Chaturvedi writes on her Facebook Profile: ‘It’s no more a Black Friday! Exit polls indicates Golden Friday for NDA.’

Atal Bihari Vajpayee formed three govt- 13 days, 13 months and full term. Then till 2004, BJP was in power in India and then came the Congress era.

Since 2004 to 2014, Congress led UPA government ruled the country. In this span of 10 years Manmohan Singh led UPA govt. did some developmental activities, however, the second term of UPA was clouded by scams after scam. The basic reason why Congress lost its faith is due to ‘Corruption.’

Then with the strategy to fight Corruption, came the AAP – Aam Aadmi Party and its founding leader Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal had literally won the hearts of the youth and many Indians. But the biggest mistake he did was by resigning from the post of the Chief Minister of Delhi. People had trusted and elected him as the CM but he shattered them off by his resignation. Kejriwal claimed he had high and respectable principles. He came out with the list of corrupt ministers, sat on several Dharna’s and spoke of a good governance. But when it came to initiating actions against his own ministers like Somnath Bharti and leaders like ShaziaIlmi, Arvind’s stand was disgusting.

Speaking about Modi, he has remained strong ever since he has begun his campaign for these General Elections. Despite several oppositions and mild attacks from his haters, Modi did not lose confidence. He had a definite plan for India and so he went ahead with it. He kept on propagating his ideologies strongly through his speeches at his rallies, winning the heart of many Indians.

Now, after Narendra Modi becomes the PM who would be the Chief Minister of Gujrat? Both Anandiben Patel and Amit Shah are close to Narendra Modi. According to the speculations going around, Anandiben Patel might be appointed as the Chief Minister of Gujrat and Amit Shah might get a post in the PMO. ArunJaitley might get the Finance Ministry and Sushma Swaraj could be given either Parliamentary Affairs or Foreign or Law Ministry. Lal Krishna Advani could be appointed as the speaker of the Lok Sabha.

Indian corporate sector expects Modi to do better job than UPA govt as his track record in Gujaratis much better than many contemporaries in India.

ModiIf Modi comes to power, it is also said that there will be communal violence. Amit Shah, in his recent speech, had spoken against the Muslims which had waged a fear in the community. But let’s remember, that in 2002 when the riots had broken in Gujrat NDA had clearly lost faith among the people. Members of the NDA like Mamta Banerjee, Mayawati, Naveen Patnaik, J. Jayalalitha had quited the NDA which was why it lost the General Elections in 2004. Due to this, NDA was shattered and 10 years back when it will come to power its difficult to believe that Modi government would let any such communal violence to happen.

This time, we approached people and tried to know what they think about the NDA victory. We had Dr. Rachit Bhushan Srivastva who said, “In my opinion any person who has the determination and puts in sincere efforts can bring a change. Also it depends on people too that how serious are the citizens of India for the development of nation. It is easy to depend on modi or gandhi but until one improves his abilities no politician can make a lot of difference if every human works hard, mere guidance can change things.”

We then approached Yaseen Kasargod who said, “To be honest, India desperately needs a change in the governance. BJP is a strong political party, and it could improve the economy of India. There are many smart and intelligent brains in BJP. There are many safforn wings like RSS, VHP, Ram Sene, and many more… Modi should never let these groups take over his decisions.”
