Sex Education Must For Chennai Students?

In a major step forward to spread awareness among teenagers to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually-transmitted infections, Chennai Govt.  has decided to include sex education as a compulsory  subject in the syllabus of schools & colleges across the city.  

A team of 42-counsellors will visit city schools and colleges  in coming days to talk to students about this. counselors will give training to teachers and provide support to parents to handle questions from students.

Officials are expecting debate & counter debate  from civil society including the teachers and parents on whether students should be taught about sex in schools.
