Ajmer Dargah chief to boycott Pervez Ashraf’s visit

The chief of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti Dargah in Ajmer Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan has said that he will boycott Pakistani Prime Minister Pervez Ashraf’s visit to the Dargah on Saturday in protest against the beheading of Indian soldiers at the LOC.

The Ajmer Dargah committee, however, has decided a grand welcome to Pakistani PM on March 9.

Several Hindu organisations have already objected Ashraf’s visit to India.
External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid requested the political parties and organisation to not politicise Ashraf’s visit to shrine of Sufi saint as it will be a private affair.
