US Senate rejects 3rd Obama nominee for Appeals Court

For the third consecutive nominee of President Obama for US Appeals Court for the District of Columbia Circuit was rejected by Senate.

ObamaObama nominee federal judge Robert L. Wilkins fell seven votes short as the Senate voted 53 in favor to 38 against.

Incidentally judge Wilkins became the fourth of Mr. Obama’s choices for the District of Columbia court to be blocked by Republicans this year.

Disappointed Obama issued a statement on Monday saying, “Four of my predecessor’s six nominees to the D.C. Circuit were confirmed. Four of my five nominees to this court have been obstructed. The American people and our judicial system deserve better.”

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
