Honda launches new City sedan in India at Rs 7.42 lakh

Honda has launched all-new City sedan in India on Tuesday. Priced at Rs 7.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), Honda’s new City is the fourth generation sedan. It was launched globally on November last year.

Honda has also launched the diesel variants of City for the first time in India at Rs 11.1 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

“With the best of both petrol and diesel technologies available in Honda City, we are very confident about the success of the model, which will significantly contribute to our business growth in India,” Honda Cars India President and CEO Hironori Kanayama told reporters.

While the petrol version of the new Honda City features 1.5 litre iVTEC engine, the diesel variant comes with 1.5 iDTEC diesel motor.

Diesel variants of the new City will be available between Rs 8.62 lakh to Rs 11.1 lakh, and petrol versions will be available at Rs 7.42 lakh and Rs 10.98 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively.
