Police got a call from a house in Panania in Sydney’s southwest early this morning at around 3:15 am which said a ‘disoriented’ man was spotted to try to break into a van. Later revealed that man was the five-time Olympic gold medallist who was thinking he was sitting in his friend’s car. He was later taken to hospital for a medical help and sent to rehab center.

“He is in rehab for depression,” his manager James Erskine confirm to AAP.
Earlier SEL, the management company has denied reports that he is battling with “crippling depression” and alcohol abuse.

“Ian is not in rehab,” a SEL representative said on Friday.

“Ian was in hospital for an operation on his shoulder and is pleased to let his friends and fans know that he is now out of hospital and on the mend,” he added.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
