Bollywood actress Jiah Khan Commits Suicide

Indo-British Bollywood actress Jiah Khan was found dead on Monday night at her Juhu residence in Mumbai. She was reportedly hanged herself using her own dupatta around 10.45 pm last night.

“Jiah’s mother and sister found her hanging when they returned at around 11 PM,” police said. The body has been sent for post-mortem.

The 25-year-old promising actress made her Bollywood debut in Nishabd in 2007 opposite Amitabh Bachchan. She had done couple of other Bollywood movies including super hit ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Housefull 2’.

“She had been depressed for some time due to personal issues, but was keen on returning to acting soon. She was also meeting filmmakers regarding projects,” TOI quoted a source close to the actress.

Bollywood fraternity was shocked after hearing this sad news.

Amitabh Bachchan twitted, “WHAT …!!! Jiah Khan ??? what has happened ? is this correct ? unbelievable !!!”

Farah Khan twitted, “CAN’T register that jiah is no more…worked with her in Housefull n she was so beautiful n such a good soul.2 young 2 go jiah.”

Shahid Kapoor wrote, “Shocked n saddened to hear about jiah khan … Very disturbing … RIP ….may her soul rest in peace.”
