Comedian Jaspal Bhatti dies

Renowned comedian and actor Jaspal Bhatti (57) died in a road accident in Punjab around 3 a.m today.

Jaspal BhattiBhatti’s car crashed when it collided with a tree on his way to Jalandhar from Bathinda.

Jaspal Bhatti’s popular comedy shows “Ulta-Pulta” and “Flop Show” were among his many shows he had done for TV viewers. He also appeared in many Bollywood movies and directed a film “Mahaul Theek Hai” in 1999.

He was going to Jalandhar to promotion of his latest film “Power Cut”, which also launches his son Jasraj. Jasraj and the leading lady of the movie Surili Gautam were also injured in the accident.
