Also referred as the “Paradise of South” this crescent beach is situated 16Km from Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India. This small city in Kerala is a paradise for honeymooners and for people seeking to rejuvenate themselves. How to reach:

By Air: Thiruvananthapuram international airport is the nearest at a distance of about 11 km.

By Road: There are regular bus services from Thiruvananthapuram Bus Stand to Kovalam Junction. Both luxury buses and deluxe buses are available from Thiruvananthapuram to Kovalam Beach. Even Auto-Rickshaws are available to reach the beach.

By Rail: Thiruvananthapuram Central is the nearest railhead at a distance of about 15 km from Kovalam. Taxis and buses are available from the railway station to reach Kovalam.

By Cab: Take a cab from Thiruvananthapuram to Kovalam, which takes around half an hour. The cost of cabs ranges from INR8 to INR25 per kilometer, depending upon the type of car.

Route: Thiruvananthapuram – 3km -> Kamaleshwaram – 2km -> Paravankunnu – 7km -> Kovalam

Best time to visit:

Though you can visit Kovalam Beach anytime of the year but the best time to visit is September to March.
