Korean phone maker LG has officially announced the launch two Optimus portfolio smartphones – Optimus Sol and Optimus Hub in India. LG claims that both the new Smartphones will meet the customer expectation.
Speaking on the occasion Soon Kwon, President, South West Asia Region and MD, LG India said, “Building on the success of the LG Smartphones, we are proud to unveil the LG Optimus SOL and LG Optimus Hub. Optimus series has been testimony to customers’ requirement and latest features that makes it an award-winning range. New launches reflect our commitment to deliver an innovative and unparalleled Smartphone experience to our consumers.”
Optimus Sol has been priced at Rs. 19,000 and Optimus Hub will come at Rs. 14,500. However these smartphones are selling at most online stores at Rs. 16,990 and Rs. 13,000 respectively.
LG Optimus sol comes with 3.8-inch, 800 x 480 resolutions and ultra AMOLED display. LG Optimus sol is powered by 1 GHz processor. It has Wi-Fi, DLNA, HSDPA, GPS. LG Optimus sol has 5 mega pixel autofocus camera.
LG Optimus Hub which will compete with the likes of Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman and Samsung Galaxy Ace comes with 3.5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen. Optimus Hub is powered by an 800 MHz ARMv6 processor and 512 MB of RAM. The LG Optimus Hub has Adreno 200 GPU and 5 mega pixel camera. It also has GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity. It also has The LG Social+ widget with SNS integration.
