Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel wins Bahrain Grand Prix

Defending champion Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull has won the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday.  Lotus team drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean finished the race in second and third position in an eventful Bahrain Grand Prix.

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel wins Bahrain Grand PrixThree-time world champion Vettel won the race dominantly ahead of Raikkonen by nine seconds. Frenchman Grosjean who started the lap in 11th position ended the race in third sopt, his best ever performance in this season.
Force India’s Paul di Resta finishes in fourth position while Mercedes’ Briton Lewis Hamilton finished fifth.

Red Bull’s second driver Australian Mark Webber finished the race in sixth position and  McLaren’s Mexican driver Sergio Perez came in seventh. Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso finished the race in disappointing eighth position.

It was German driver Vettel’s 28th career victory and second of the year.

“Fantastic race. It was seamless race from start to finish. I thought it was crucial to get into lead from the start and go from there. It seemed to get better and better toward the end,” Vettel said after the match.
