To avoid ‘pinki pramanik’ incident in future, the Union Sports Ministry has released a new set of guidelines on Wednesday by which female hyperandrogenism can be identified and a athletes can be disqualified to participate in competitions in the female category.
The government has sent a letter to the States, Sports Authority of India and Sports Federations in the country and asked them to appoint Nodal officers who will look after this.
