Nehwal and Kashyap crash out of World Badminton Championships

Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap crashed out of World Badminton Championships on Friday

The 13th seed South Korean Yeon Ju Bae defeated world number 4 Saina 23-21, 21-9 by in the quarter-final.

Kashyap fought very hard against World No.3 Du Pengyu of China but lost the match 21-16, 22-20, 21-15.

Now India’s all hope is with P V Sindhu, who stunned second seed Wang Yihan of China 21-18, 23-21 and entered quarterfinals of the World Badminton Championships for the first time. 10th seed Sindhu will face seventh seed China’s Shixian Wang.
