Leander Paes Wins His First Australian Open Doubles Title

Leander Paes won his 13th career grand slam and first Australian open doubles title today here at Melbourne Park. Now 38 year old Paes has all four grand slam doubles title in his kitty.

Leander Paes and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek beat top seed Mike and Bob Bryan in the men’s doubles final at the Australian Open.

They beat the American Bryan brothers 7-6(7-1), 6-2 in an hour and 20 minutes and denied them to register their 12th Grand Slam doubles title.

Leander also reached mixed doubles final with ElenaVesnina .
