Dhawan and Kohli rout Australia as India level series

Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli played some extraordinary cricket to establish yet Dhawan and Kohli rout Australia as India level seriesanother victory for India while chasing 350 or more. Australia was on the receiving side for the second time in the series as the Indians made good use of the conditions to level the 7-match series 2-2. Both Dhawan and Kohli recorded breathtaking centuries as India chased down Australia’s mammoth total of 350/6 keeping 6 wickets intact and with 3 balls still remaining.

Earlier in the day George Bailey and Shane Watson slammees centuries enabling Australia to post an imposing total of 350/6 in 50 overs as the Indians struggled to keep the run flow in check. While Bailey scored an excellent 156 Watson complimented his captain with a well-made 102 as the duo added 168 runs for the 3rd wicket partnership. Adam Voges contributed well with a quick fire 44vas the visitors reached Shikhar Dhawanthe 350-run mark.

The Indian batsmen came on to bat with a positive intent as Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma kept the required rate under control right from the very beginning. The opening stand of 178 runs set the platform for the rest of the players to chase down the huge total. However after their fall of the wicket of Dhawan (100), the visitors picked up couple of more wickets in the form of Raina and Yuvraj to put the hosts under pressure. But some determined batting from Kohli accompanied by captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni steer India to another big victory. Kohli completed his century in just 62 balls as Dhoni finished off the match in the last over by hitting a 4 kohli dhawan century help India beat australia to level seriesand a 2.

Kohli was adjudged the player of the match for his scintillating innings of 115. Things are really getting exciting as the two teams are raring to lock horns against each other for one final in the series in Bangalore. With players from both the teams in brilliant touch the stage  set for an absolute crackerjack of a match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on November 3 as Australia will look forward to clinch the series and take the pole position iin the ICC ODI Rankings.
