Chelsea back to winning ways; Arsenal back within top four

defeat but they could take a lot of positives from the game for they managed to put up a spirited performance following a woeful start to the season.

Oscar opened the scoring for the home side with an excellent finish in the 32nd minute of the match. Chelsea led 1-0 at half time owing to that strike from the Brasilian. After the change of ends QPR pressed forward and they got their rewards when they found the back of the net in the 62nd minute of the match. Charlie Austin who scored a brace last week was up to the task once again. Having conceded the equalizer, Chelsea attacked in numbers and finally scored through a Eden Hazard penalty after Mike Jones pointed to the spot for a tackle on Eden hazard by Eduardo Vargas.

Arsenal looked sharp at the Emirates as Alexis Sanchez found the back of the net twice in the second half to lead Arsenal to a 3-0 win over Burnley. Calum Chambers scored the second goal of the match after Sanchez had opened the scoring for the home side in the 70th minute. Sanchez added the third for Arsenal and his second of the match just few minutes before the final whistle.

With this defeat Burnley find themselves in a tight spot at the bottom of the table while this victory helped arsenal regain their spot within the top four in the league table. in other matches of the day Liverpool slumped to a 1-0 defeat in the hands of the Magpies at the St. James Park., thamks to a 73rd minute strike from Perez. Everton was held to a 0-0 draw by Swansea as Stoke City and West Ham United finished on level terms at 2-2.
