Boxer Ram Singh arrested in Mohali drug case

Boxer Ram Singh has been arrested over the Rs 130 crore drug recovery after the dealer Anup Singh Kahlon named him and Vijender Singh as his clients. Police will call Vijender Singh soon for further questioning.

Punjab police has recovered sixteen kilograms of heroin worth Rs. 130 crore from a Zirakpur flat. They found a car outside the flat which belongs to Vijender’s wife but was being used by Ram Singh. They arrested drug dealer Anup Singh Kahlon who named both the boxers as his clients.

Vijender denies allegation and told CNN-IBN, “These rumours are false. I have nothing to do with these people. I do not know how my name has come up in this matter. I was in Mumbai for some work and had left my car at NIS Patiala. Nothing was found in my car.”
