After English Channel, Sisters Rashmi and Richa Sharma crossed Indian Ocean

Sisters Rashmi and Richa Sharma successfully crossed the Indian Ocean in South Africa with a timing of three hours and twenty minutes.

Kolkata based this sister duo previously crossed the English Channel thrice in 2006, 2007 and 2009 and also swim across the Strait of Gibraltar two years ago.

They crossed the Indian Ocean through Algoa Bay Crossing, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Coast of South Africa. They have started from King’s Bay and finished at Bell Buoy.
Rashmi and Richa will attempt the South Atlantic Ocean next week at Cape Town, the Western Coast of South Africa.
