Supreme Court suggests rescheduling of West Bengal panchayat pollsThe Supreme Court on Friday asked West Bengal government and the state Election Commission to reschedule upcoming panchayat polls in the state.

The Apex Court has also suggested that the votes can be taken place between July 6 and 22 in five phases.

Both Mamata Banerjee government and SEC have accepted the suggestions.

Supreme Court asked both the parties to get back to it with proper security plans and number of security forces which to be deployed for the panchayat elections.
