Rajnath Singh meets Advani

BJP President Rajnath Singh met senior BJP leader LK Advani on Wednesday over announcing Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as party’s Prime Ministerial candidature.

After RSS supports Modi openly, now Rajnath Singh tries to convince Advani who is dead against Modi’s candidature and publicly embarrassed BJP for his comments against Modi.

Advani supporters like Sushma Swaraj and Murli Manohar Joshi are also not in favour of Modi’s candidature. Advani camp does not want to announce Modi’s name as Prime Ministerial candidate so soon. They rather want to wait till the result from upcoming 5 state polls to be held later this year.

Now it is interesting to see where BJP’s internal politics will go.
