Modi to meet BRICS leaders in Brazil

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet the BRICS leaders on sideline of FIFA world cup final in Brazil. However he may not watch the FIFA final match.

The Prime Minister’s office is also considering a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel either in Frankfurt or in Brazil as she may come to watch the match if her country reaches the final. Prime Minister is keen to meet Merkel to pursue her to invest more in India.

Modi will leave for Brazil on July 11 and will address the summit participate by leaders form Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa on July 12 in Fortaleza.
