Expelled Congress MP Lagdapati Rajagopal has used pepper spray in the Lok Sabha when the government was trying to introduce the bill. TDP MP Venugopal Reddy allegedly was seen brandished a knife which he later denied saying he pulled the mike.

“I pulled the mike that was in front of the Secy General. It may have looked like a knife, I did not bring any knife inside the house. I was beaten up by 10 MPs. I will complain. The house belongs to the Speaker and us,” Venugopal Reddy said.

“Ministers coming into the well of the House, throwing papers. It was disgraceful for Parliament. In such chaotic conditions, govt should only go for vote on account and nothing else,” Advani said.
