Govt Planning to Make CAG a Multi-member Body

According to V.Narayanaswamy, Minister of state, the Government is considering making the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) a multi-member body.

Now this is a ploy some of us have been expecting for a while. Don’t we all know what was done to the Election Commission to handle the aggressive vigilance of T.N.Seshan?

Why do we need a Constitution at all? After all, it is such an inconvenient thing for Governments which don’t like to be questioned and which have so much to be questioned about!!!

Perhaps Congress and UPA would think about that too.
