PM Modi effectively delivers his maiden Independence day Speech

As the day dawned, the level of excitement and curiosity multiplied to hear out newly elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech. Prime Minister Modi addressed the nation on the occasion of 68th Independence Day. He spoke spectacularly as always and addressed crucial issues through his speech at Red Fort in New Delhi. He began by wishing and greeting Indians on this auspicious occasion of Independence Day.

“I am in front of you, not as a Prime Minister by as a Prime Servant,” he said effectively adding that politicians and governments have not made the country but farmers, labourers, mothers and sisters have.

Rape:

Prime Minister Modi spoke on the issue of rape and said that the day we hear about it our head turns down in shame. He emphasized that parents have a list of questions for their girls and keep on inquiring about their whereabouts and friends but it is completely opposite when it comes to boys. “The law will do its work, strictly, but parents too, have some responsibilities,” he said.

Violence:

Communal Violence, Racism and other sorts of violence have disturbed the peace and harmony of the country. It has traumatized the people of the country in recent months. NarendraModi said that by walking on the path of violence no one has achieved anything. He asked that for how long the poison of racism and inequality will prevail. Such things, he added are barriers in the development of the country. He appealed the citizens to narendra-modi-speechindulge in brotherhood and harmony for the benefits of the country.

Sex ratio:

“Are you aware of the condition of sex ratio in the country?” he asked and said that it is 1000 boys to 940 girls. He appealed that just to fill the lockers at your house do not kill a girl. The brutality shown towards the girl children showcases the cruel mind of a 21st Century human. He asserted that girls have contributed equally as boys in making our country proud.

– He reminded Government officials that they are just doing their service but are authentically serving the nation.

Farmer’s suicide:

Farmers in our country have been committing suicide. Those who provide us with food to survive are themselves facing difficulties in surviving. And all this is happening due to poverty. Mr.Modi in his speech said that through the medium of Jan DhanYojana he wants to connect poor people of the country with a bank account. And the one who opens an account under this Yojana will be provided with a Debit Card and a Bima of INR. 100,000. This amount will be helpful to the family in case of any emergency.

Skill Development:

modi-at-rajghatToday it is very difficult to find a good cook, a plumber or a domestic help. Prime Minister Modi said that for the development of the country skill development needs to be encouraged. We want job creators, he said.

Unemployment:

“If we want to employ our youth then we need to give importance to manufacturing sector,” PM Modi said. He also said that we need to make ourselves capable enough to not just import but also export effectively. ‘Made in India’ was a new slogan that PM bought in light through his speech today. He said that we need to move towards digitalization. He said that two factors – Zero Defect and Zero Effect should not be compromised.

E-Governance:

Mr.Modi called E-Governance as Easy Governance, Effective Governance and Economical Governance. He said that it is an effective method. “Once railways used to connect the people of the country but now I.T is doing that. He also said that we must move forward to give good governance.

Tourism:

modi_iday speechMr.Modi, in his speech, said that tourism provides employment for poor people. But while promoting this tourism the difficulty is the scrap around us. “If people pledge to keep their surroundings clean then there is no power in this world which can make our places dirty,” he said.

“In 2019, India will be marking 150th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. But what should be given to this great man who gave us independence? He praised cleanliness, he loved it. And cleanliness is the biggest gift that can be given to him,” he added. I want to begin a cleanliness program from 2nd October this year, he said.

Planning Commission:

Since our government has come into power there is a discussion on Planning Commission, Mr.Modi said. Time as well as the needs and necessities, from the time Planning Commission was set-up, have changed. The country can be taken ahead if the states are developed. The importance of India’s federal system has multiplied over years.

Poverty:

PM Modi said that we fought with such a big realm when we had no government and ammunitions. He asked that if we Indians could do that then can we not destroy poverty. He encouraged Indians to destroy poverty together. SAARC nations can together destroy poverty. We SAARC countries can emerge powerful in the world. The presence of SAARC leaders in the oath ceremony has marked a pleasant beginning.

modiNational Anthem was followed by the speech of Prime Minister Modi.

The Independence Day’s speech of Prime Minister was indeed outstanding and spectacular. As a journalist I have following speeches of several Prime Ministers and haven’t heard such an effective and appealing speech before. He addressed crucial issues, staged his point of view, vision for the development of the country and encouraged citizens to remain united. This speech can be considered as a powerful one and hopes and aspirations of a better India can be lit up. Happy Independence Day from team Spectralhues!
