JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik arrested at Srinagar airport

Separatist leader Yasin Malik was detained at Srinagar Airport on Sunday as soon he has arrived from New Delhi.

JKLF chairman Malik was in Pakistan for the last seven-weeks and returned to India yesterday.

“Malik was taken into custody by police within the airport premises and later taken out through the back gate,” JKLF spokesman told media.
He has been put under house arrest.

The J & K government is trying to detach Malik from the ongoing protest in the valley in demand for return of mortal body of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru and JKLF founder Mohammad Maqbool Bhat, who were hanged in Tihar jail.
