Korean rapper PSY’s Gangnam Style music video ranks second with a billion searches by viewers on YouTube.

The third top search relates to ‘Superstorm Sandy’ which devastated the US East Coast.

The other top trending searches relate to Apple iPad 3 tablet, Diablo 3, and Kate Middleton.

The 2012 London Olympics, Amanda Todd, Green Mile actor Michael Clarke Duncan, and Big Brother Brasil – were among the other most searched celebs of 2012.
