Congress leader Manish Tewari has to swallow his own words and issue an unconditional apology to former BJP President Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday for allegedly taking his name the Adarsh scam case.

“Manish Tewari has submitted a written apology to Gadkariji before the court. Gadkariji has accepted and requested the court to withdraw the case now,” Gadkari’s lawyer Sushant Geet informed media.

Tewari had accused Gadkari of holding a ‘benami’ flat in the Adarsh housing society in Mumbai. Gadkari lodged a defamatory case against Tewari in the court.
