Is Google putting money in SpaceX’s Satellite Internet?

The latest buzz suggests that the search engine giant is considering investing in SpaceX’s high speed satellite internet system. The speculations started when Elon Musk announced that SpaceX is going to create its own satellite internet system which would deliver high speed internet, especially to a vast populations which are still not using internet across the globe.

The rival OneWeb already secured funding from Virgin, Qualcomm and O3b and now the new report from Jessica E. Lessin suggests that SpaceX will get funding from Google.

According to the media reports Google would invest anything between $1 billion and $10 billion for SpaceX’s project.
