Delhi voted most unsafe city in India

According to a new survey conducted by TripAdvisor, Delhi has been voted as the most unsafe city in India by solo travelling women.

The survey also found that Mumbai is the safest metro city followed by Ahmedabad and Bangalore.

“Due to the recent spate of crime against women, the national capital has gained notoriety with 84 per cent women claiming it to be the most unsafe metro,” the TripAdvisor said.

Most worrying factor revealed in the survey is that at least 94% women feel unsafe while travelling in India alone, but they don’t feel disturbed while travel abroad.

33% Women carry pepper spray or self-defence materials while travelling to a new city.
