Bigg Boss participant Armaan Kohli arrested

‘Bigg Boss 7’ participant Armaan Kohli was arrested on Monday night from the Bigg Boss house following the complaint lodged by fellow inmate Sofia Hayat.

After her aviction from the Bigg Boss house, British-Pakistani actress Hayat had filed an FIR against actor Armaan Kohli alleging that she was verbally and physically abused by him at the ‘Bigg Boss’ house.

The Lonavla city police went to Bigg Boss house and arrested Kohli.

“Following the complaint by Hayat, an FIR was registered against co-contestant Armaan Kohli,” Arun Chavan, Senior Inspector at Santacruz police station, had told PTI.

Kohli was arrested under IPC sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) 506 (criminal intimidation) and 354 a (sexual harassment).

“Police report done. I’m exhausted with today!. the police have been amazing. Santacruz police have been very professional and courteous,” Sofia Hayat tweeted.
