Veteran social activist Anna Hazare has began indefinite fast in his village Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra for the strong Jan Lokpal Bill.
“In this winter session of Parliament, the government must bring the Jan Lokpal Bill and for this, we are going to sit on a fast,” Anna told reporters.
Anna said UPA government has betrayed people for not keeping its promise of bringing in the Jan Lokpal Bill. He had also written a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over this issue.
