Mahindra launches XUV500 Sportz at Rs 13.68 lakh

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched limited edition of a new W8 variant of its popular SUV XUV500 called Mahindra XUV500 Sportz at Rs 13.68 lakh (ex-showroom Pune).

Mahindra has launched only 1,000 units of this limited Mahindra XUV500 Sportz.

Although there is no major mechanical changes in Mahindra XUV500 Sportz, however the interior and exteriors comes with sporty looks.

Powered by 330Nm mHawk engine clubbed with a 6-speed transmission, the all new XUV500 Sportz has new alloy wheels with red inserts. It also has ‘Sportz’ logo on the C-pillar.

There are also red-and-black colour both on bonnet as well as on the doors of the SUV. The Mahindra XUV500 Sportz comes with fog lamps housing, roof rails and door handles with red highlights. It has 6-inch touch screen with rear camera.

The company claimed that Mahindra XUV500 Sportz will have standard micro-hybrid technology, climate control, automatic wipers and headlamps, LED parking lights and electrical ORVM.

Mahindra has sold over 30,000 units of the Mahindra XUV500 in the financial year 2013-2014.
