Toyota unveils new Corolla Altis

Toyota has unveiled much awaited new Corolla Altis on Wednesday at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. The 11th generation Corolla Altis is set to compete in the luxury segment with Hyundai’s Elantra, Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Jetta.

The new Corolla Altis comes in both petrol and diesel engines. It is powered by 1.8-litre dual VVTi petrol engine and the 1.4-litre D4-D diesel engine. The new car has contemporary large swept-back headlights with the bold chrome grille.

It has six-speed manual gearboxes, 16 inch wheels and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The bookings of Corolla Altis begins and it will hit the market in May 2014 seven new colours.
