‘Jal Satyagraha’ By Protesters In Kudankulam, Enters Fourth Day

‘Jal Satyagraha’ by the anti-nuclear protesters, who are protesting against the fuel loading into the Kudankulam nuclear reactor, stood in the sea for the fourth day in a row, spreading the protests across Tamil Nadu.

Earlier on Friday the Supreme Court refused to stay fueling at the Kudankulam plant.  However the Apex Court has  agreed to check the risk involved in the project, which is the prime concern for the Anti-nuclear protestors.

Meanwhile Police had arrested Satishkumar, an active member of Peoples Movement Against Nuclear Energy (PMANE) for trying to involve fishermen to join the protest against Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project. Police is now fiercely searching the conveyner of the movement Udayakumar.
