The second in line to the British throne, Prince William has ended his seven years of military career on Thursday as a Royal Air Force search-and-rescue helicopter pilot. He will now focus on royal duties and charity work.
The 31-year-old Prince William and his wife Kate became parents with couple’s first child, Prince George last month. Now they will shift to Kensington Palace in London.
According to Kensington Palace Price William had been in 156 search and rescue operations and assisted rescuing 149 people. He has accomplished over 1,300 flying hours.
Prince Harry meanwhile continues his life in military as Apache helicopter pilot.
